Why are so many children here, asking questions about sex?

Has anyone else noticed the insane amount of young children, like eleven year olds, on Answers, asking wild questions about sex and pregnancy? Am I the only one saying "wow, that's crazy." ??? Are is it a good thing that they have somewhere to turn for answers??? Should they even know of these questions to ask in the first place???

simple [if] i were to ask i'd rather ask a bunch of strangers. parents jump to conclusions while strangers know nothing but your username. saves yourself the embarrassment.

Any child will be curious and I think they should be able to ask whatever they want whenever they want to. I think their answers have to be what is carefully planned. You can only talk about the birds and the bees to a 6 year old up to a certain point. But you can't stress safe sex to a 16 year old enough. I'm not sure about them coming on here. They may not always get a positive response. They might get one from some psycho.

we dont know the age of the asker i only try to give honest answers as best i know how but for Questons such as these it realy is a shame that they can not go to ther parents for solid advice, so i sugest that they go off line with those and confide in someone they can trust. to many people out there who will tell them the wrong thing.

i believe as a role model for a ten month old baby boy, that these children should go to their parents first, and then ask other adults... not their little sex happy friends at school.
