What do you think about the bullied school bus monitor?

A senior women being bullied by some dumb 14 year old kids were name calling her and she broke down in tears and in return got over $430K and vacation time out it. Do you think she is being too rewarded for what happened, I mean she was a bus monitor even though those kids went too far it was kind of her job to deal with this kind of situations.

Yes I agree with you. She is overreacting, my bus monitor in school- would tell the bus driver if ANYBODY was being unruly and he would stop the bus, and the kids who were being unruly- they would get a slip to have there parents sign, and if you didn't get it signed and back to the bus driver within two days, you couldn't ride on the bus that day. (some students who the bus driver knew there parents wouldn't sign, would give them in school suspension for an hour.) She should of told the bus driver to stop, or bring attention to all the students that 14 year olds are immaturaly bulling a elderly woman.

The video made me cry. Those kids were being completely immature and mean. If I was on that bus I would have kicked their asses. That wonderful woman did not deserve all of the mean comments the kids said to her. I think she deserves the $430K and vacation time out. The bullies wouldn't have listened to her and would probably just verbally abuse her more. I hope she lives a long and happy life. :) You should watch her interview she did on Anderson Cooper she seems like such a kind woman.

I'm 14 and some kids can be big assholes I'm onto going to lie. Some kids are big if she did anything Garuntee they would totally do something to her. I think it's horrible what she went through. 14 year olds don't seem very intimidating or that bad but they are big assholes trust me she deserves that award and if that were you, you would be pretty pissed of too! Being a damn grown woman getting picked on by 14 year olds is pretty fricken sad. Those r the kids that make my generation look bad :(

I think the kids who were teasing her, were just begging to be shot. I'm 16, and when I was 14, I WOULD NEVER EVER DO THAT. When I saw that clip I felt like bashing those kids. I hate it when I see people getting bullied; no matter what age, it's still messed up.
