What are your favorite lyrics?

My favorite set of lyrics are from a song called Jasey Rae, by All Time Low. They go:

It'd be so hard for me to chose a favorite because there a just so many. I'm an English Literature major and a HUGE music fan with an enormous collection... but for now, here are some that stick out in my mind:



Here's two very socially/politically conscious verses by Neil Young that always stuck out to me:

I like it because initially it sounds a bit strange. People are always like "Why would you want a shallow grave?" But when you listen to it in context, it's actually a very deep song.



The lyrics resound well with me, even if the song itself is not my favorite by the band.
