How can a 13 year old earn money?

Hello, I was woundering how can a poor 13 year old earn money?

I don't know where you are or what the laws are, but check out if these ideas are legal.



Washing cars.

Doing housework.

Cooking and selling cakes, sweets and other goodies.

Walking Dogs.

Clearing out pet's cages.

Running Errands.

Keeping an eye on smaller kids. (keeping them amused while an adult is within calling distance)

Writing a story or article for a paper or fanzine or magazine.

Growing and selling plants.

Selling off old things you don't want anymore.(Be careful of this though. You might not think you want your Sindy doll anymore, but you might again later.)

Helping younger or struggling kids with their schoolwork.

Giving Mum or Dad a massage.

Sewing or making nice things to be sold.

Helping with decorating.

Helping out at a local shop.

Paper round.

Doing some art work, like a mural somewhere.

Cleaning off graffiti.

Put on a play, concert, or make a film and charge for folk to see.

See if any local businesses need some help.

Help an older person understand the Internet and computers.



The most important thing is to make sure that whatever you do, an adult knows and keeps an eye on things.

A guy that went to my school got a lot of money cleaning windows. He started his own buisness when he was a junior and got some other guys to work for him. He used some of the money he got to buy equipment and eventually he owned his got a deal when he was 20 to have his crews clean a mall's windows. He was doing really well but then he died in a motercycle accident when he was 22.

As for your jobs, you can work along side someone that has a great career already and see what it takes to get there. Your brain is expanding to the world of needs and wants and for you to fulfill what you will become you have to go out there and try. If you get paid for something or you don't get paid for it, does it stop you from doing it. I did more things in goodness and never got paid for them in the sense you think, and I ever did for anything in payment.

hi! you can try maybe babysitting in your street, wash cars, wash windows and sutff like that. you can also sell cookies etc. maybe you can ask your parents to give you a small amount of money if you do some work etc like that. good luck!
