What are your favourite song lyrics?

I am really in the mood to write a songfic, but can't seem to find a song that inspires me. I can't think of any ideas using the songs I already own and all Google is giving me is sappy, cheesy love songs. What are your favourite song lyrics? They can be romantic, angry, tell a story, whatever. Best answer goes to the person whose song inspires me most. Thanks guys!

I would suggest having a look at some of Delta Goodrem's music. Not sure if you've heard of her. She's an Australian singer who writes all her own lyrics and some of them are beautiful.
