Question:
Does it bother you when people can't look past your simple typos?

For example things like:
Ment instead of meant
Serisoluy instead of Seriously
Intellegent instead of Intelligent
I mean come on those are just simple typos...

LOL Yeah. Especially when they're like, "You shouldn't be allowed to reproduce if you can't even spell "suspicious" properly, blah blah blah."

We're not born knowing how to spell. At least the person is trying and obviously gave it some attention.

*EDIT* I'm a spelling Nazi and even I often make typos. I use Spell Check but it either doesn't recognize something as a typo or it gives stupid, way off options and I don't know how it's actually spelled.

I know.

People here just totally pitch a fit over typos or if someone has poor english.

Just answer the damn question.

Sometimes I typo and I hate getting ripped on for it. I SPEAK perfect english but sometimes I really fail at typing, whether it be I am rushing, pissed off or just not paying attention when I type.

Then they answer, "Go back and learn better grammar." "Your grammar sucks." "You can't even spell right."

People really suck these days.

I'd like to see less ripping on people and more just answering the question.

-there is spell check

-if you can't take the time to type a word correctly why do you expect people to try and figure out what you wrote?

-if they are just "simple typos" then why are they so darn hard to fix?

-you are really just going through more trouble asking this question when you could take 2 seconds to fix the 'e' in intelligent to an "i".

when I say you, I don't mean you directly. I mean You as in everyone personally who is reading this.

Well.. it's just a complete fail when people spell intelligent wrong.

Especially because this site has spell check.

It isn't that hard to spell or at least double-check what you've written. Therefore, no, it doesn't bother me when people correct you. Get used to it. Embrace it. Appreciate it.

Yes! Once I posted a question on here about my friend being rude and apologising and it was super long!

And someone replied going 'it's not apologise, it's APOLOGIZE'

It was so annoying because here (UK) we say 'apologiSe'!

Such an idiot! wasted my time and they reply with a stupid spelling mistake
