PMS=Premenstrual syndrome is a tricky condition to identify, partly because it has such a wide variety of signs and symptoms. Mood swings, tender breasts, food cravings, fatigue, irritability and depression are among the most common symptoms of PMS. What ties these seemingly unrelated problems together is that they affect you only in the days before your monthly period.

I believe you're able to use tampons as soon as you start your period. There are instructions in the box if you're unsure how to use them or don't want to ask anyone. I understand your embarrassment, we've all been there at one point. However, you don't have to use a tampon when you're on your period, you can just use a pad if you want. Pads can sometimes be big and bulky and uncomfortable so sometimes women prefer to use tampons with a panty liner. I'm sure you could talk to your mom and she'd be more than happy to help you with any questions and concerns you might have.

You can use them as soon as you start your period.

Its whenever YOU want to.

PMS stands for pre-menstrual syndrome.

Happens before your period. Some women but not all experience this. It includes sore boobs, cramps, bloating and irrability.

Sometime I experience those things sometimes I don't.

Go buy a box and try em. Make a decision for yourself.

I prefer them. You may or may not like them but don't let what others say keep you from making your own decision.

Keep in mind if your periods are heavy you may need to change the tampon every 1-2 hours and never wear one for more than 8 hours.

Oh and if it is in correctly you should not be able to feel it.

Using tampons is an excellent way to prevent embarrassments during that time of the month. As long as you are aware of how often you need to change them and are responsible about it, you could use them if you want. Talk to your mom, or a trusted adult and really explain that you'd feel more comfortable in school wearing tampon/s. I would recommend TAMPAX PEARLS or PLAYTEX Gentle Glide.

PMS means Pre-Menstrual Syndrom. This is when your body is preparing for your period to start and can cause stress and cramping.

Hope everything works out!

You can use a tampon. I know girls that use tampons from the very start. I personally don't wear them, I don't find them very comfortable. Some people prefer not to start wearing them until after they've had sex, because it's easier. It's just personal preference I guess. I don't really understand what you mean by "what do you call Pms?" but if your asking what it is, it's premenstrual syndrome, the symptoms you get right before, and during your period.

Just go buy them at the store. My favorite brand is tampax. They work well. They are approx $4 or so for a box of 25-30 count.

And pms is just the time before your period where you notice symptoms, like bloating, crankiness, cramping and you just know it's about to hit. If you want something to help with that Midol extra strength works well. I usually only have to take one a day for a couple days and I'm okay.

i used them since i was 11. they are really good for when you are in sports. you don't need to a doctor! haha you can just walk down to rite aid and buy some. the best is Playtex sport. I don't like wearing pads though cause it feels like a diaper. some people aren't comfortable wearing them but i don't even feel it. Just the thing is that the very first time when you put one on if you have never had sex, its kinda hard. not meaning to get graphic, but when you first put one on it kinda stretches the hole. lots of girls think that you have to take it out to pee but you don't. you have two holes down there. so yeah that's basically it. good luck. :)

You can wear them at any age but i would recommend that you first try to use one at home. this is because they are often quite difficult to put in on the very first time. I didn't personally try this, but apparently lying on your bed whilst trying to put one in helps. I wont lie, i found it difficult and kinda painful the first time but its much easier later on. But don't give in cos many (i don't know if that should actually be 'most') people defiantly prefer them to pads. And it can reduce the fear of any smells that you can get from pads. I personally would never go back to pads now. They don't feel as clean and i always get paranoid that people can see it.

Hope this helped and that everything goes well.

Most girls start using tampons when they are 15 but because my period was on during a reunion at a lake I had to use a tampon because I waned to get in the water. I was twelve.

i do no longer think of so. i attempted tampons when I first began, while i grow to be 10. yet i could no longer do it :/ yet yeah, unquestionably use tampons they're a lot greater appropriate than pads! basically make absolute to no longer depart them in for longer than 8 hours.

You can use a tampon as soon as you start your period, so you're fine to use them. I'm not quite sure what you mean by the 'what do you call PMS' - I just call it PMS!

Hope this helps.

Just whenever you are comfortable. I started using them when I was 13. It all just depends on how comfortable you are with it. I didn't want to use them at first but when I started using them it was fine. Welcome to the start of being a woman. =)

Whenever you feel ready to use them. My friend used them the first time she got her period. It really is all up to how you feel about them.

I started using them the first time i got my period, so whenever you feel ready. PMS is just how crappy you feel before your period, ie. cramps, headaches and such.
