Can you hear this "teenager only" noise?

Question

I found this on the Mom Logic website. Apparently, only those of us under the age of 25 can hear it. All it is is a high pitched noise, like on those hearing tests you take at the doctor's office. I did it, and aside from it being shockingly irritating, it doesn't hurt. No need to turn your speakers all the way up, either.

I am really sensitive to it. The TV makes the same noise sometimes and drives me crazy.



I had it on my phone when I was in high school.

Some adults over 25 could hear it and I had one teacher who I would play it when he would walk by my desk and he couldn't hear it at all and the whole class would crack up.





I am 19 and I can hear it all too well.

I have it as a ringtone on my phone. I am thirteen and i can hear it as well as my friends but our teachers and some parents generally over the age of 35 can not hear the noise.

and listening to that for 10minutes while you wait for a bus gives you a headache

Yup i can hear it =] i have this on my ipod the app is called sound grenade my and my friend will play ours at the same time in class people yell at himand e turns his off while mine is ill on and they yell at him some more lolz its a blast...

No I'm 32. My five year old said she heard it. I didn't belive her so I tried turning it on and off. She was able to tell me every time it was playing. My dog didn't seem to hear it, could be because she's old like me. Cute!
