Is teen mom 2 really teaching lessons?

I know now they're like in their 20s but I'm very unsure as to 3 of them getting pregnant so quickly & marrying guys they've only known less than a year, and how this should pertain to teaching about teenage pregnancy...thoughts? It just looks more like a glamorous attention seeking reality show than a real documentary.

No, teen mom is not teaching a lesson. They only make it look easy to raise a child in which it is not. Of course, they make money from the show which is probably where majority of their income is coming from. Also, having several marriages and children with multiple men is not teaching any lesson at all.

It's reality show. Reality shows are not, and never have been, documentaries.



But most evidence suggests that these sorts of shows tend to discourage other teens from having children, rather than glamorizing and encouraging teen parenthood.

Have you ever actually watched the show? Because there is nothing glamourous about those girls' lives. Anyone who watches the show and still thinks young parenthood is a good idea is probably foolish enough to get knocked up at a young age anyway.
