I guess by your standards they would be "excellent" (85%+), but I have different standards. I'm having a crappy year! My grade averages will end up being 3 B's and 3 A's, but right now they don't look so great. In my school I'm pretty much considered the "dumb brunette". I get bad marks and make stupid mistakes.



In English I've just gotten back a grammar quiz I received a 79% on. In French I've just gotten back a quiz I received a 75% on and in Science I've just received an 85% on. Plus in Math I've just gotten a 94% which I'm really disappointed in! If I checked over my work I should have gotten a 100%.



C Average in any course is failing.. there's a lot of pressure now, especially because I received a solid "C" on my French quiz and a "C+" on my English quiz.



My school doesn't offer sports until Upper School, when 2 clubs and 3 sports are required. I do, however, play 1 sport each trimester (Field Hockey, Squash, Lacrosse). Right now I am playing Field Hockey and I've just scored my 7th goal this season. We've only had 5 games, with our 6th on Wednesday.

in australia we use a equipment from F-A+ with A+ being the utmost achievable mark. F=40% and under E=40-40 9% D=50-fifty 9% C=60-sixty 9% B=70-seventy 9% A=80=89% A+=ninety-a hundred% colleges variety fairly in the percentages.

The scoring system here is kind of different.



In the last year of high school subjects are marked up and down according to difficulty.



So in the hardest mathematics, you could be getting straight B's, but at the end of the year its marked up relative to the average score probably meaning straight A's.



so we got that out of the way, i mainly get Good to Excellent, and all of my subjects get markups at the end of the year.

I have straight A's. But I work so very hard at getting them and my parents put a lot of pressure on me to do well.

I do soccer, track, theatre ( which involves auditions, rehearsals and performances), chrous,singing lessons, dance, french club, swim team, and humane teen club. Plus I'm an honor student so I need to get community service.

I'm not in clubs (I don't know what clubs we have or when/where they meet )or sports (Awful at all sports lol) and i get good grades! Biology=excellent, English=excellent, Ceramics=excellent, Health=excellent, Pe=Good, and Geometry=good. So That's nice, for my 1st year of high school (so far) lol. :)
