well i ended up in after school detention tonight for 2 hours (3.30 -5.30) which means its dark when you leave school!!! I basically had to sit in a classroom in school uniform, writing for the whole 2 hours not good and very embarrising.........for apparently rudeness to my science teacher.....i know i shouldnt have done it etc, my parents have given me hell for it this week, because they had a phone call on tuesday from my head of year from the school about my detention and what time i should be picked up etc :(....
So...mum picked me up from my detention tonight at 5.30, iv only just got home and had tea etc as we live 15 mins drive from school, so mum isnt happy about me in detention and sent me to my room:(
anyway .... Do you think its fair to be given a 2 hour after school detention with writing?! My hand was aching like hell during detention earlier from holding my pen! (i did 8 sides of A4 in detention) and iv now got blue pen ink from detention on the side of my hand lol, i am left handed and when i was writing my lines and essay the ink smudged on my hand!! the way i hold my pen i usually get bits of ink on my hands but after detention tonight they were covered!! but i tried getting the ink off and it wont remove lol! the ink is my fountain pen ink so very smudgy! (doesnt look great with red nail varnish :()
There were two other girls from year 9 in detention with me (kaylee and hannah) and we all had to do writing for 2 hours, we got given this essay and also we had to write the school code of conduct out, When we were allowed to leave the classroom we all said how much our hands were aching from writing for ages and how boring it was!!!
the school cleaners wanted to clean the room, so they waited outside until we finished detention, then came in and cleaned...soooo embarrising as one of them knew my mum!!!! its just embarrising in general walking out of detention and going home with inky hands etc .....
